Summer 2007 --ERD and NM Tech are distributing the Energy Fuel Cell Car Kit and Manual to New Mexico middle school science teachers who are enthusiastic and interested. The kit introduces students to the fuel cell car, photovoltaic cells, hand crank generator, and the science surrounding the fuel cell and explores the exciting physics and chemistry of energy. Our hope is that by exploring the energy experiments in the kit we can open the energy vista for our next generation of people who will be facing the energy challenges and changes affecting the world. The kit is created through a grant from NM Tech (Socorro, New Mexico), and the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department JPA #06-521-0300-0211, Administered by Don Weinkoff at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. The car inside the kit is produced by Horizon Fuel Cell and distributed by The Fuel Cell Store.

The Fuel Cell Store is selling "Intelligent Fuel Cell Cars" that run on micro fuel cells. It could be the first profitable fuel cell automobile, and it represents a step towards practical and widespread fuel cell applications. http://www.fuelcellstore.com

January 17, 2005 Energy Related Devices granted Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies Pte Ltd., a Singapore corporation, a non-exclusive license to manufacture MicroFuel CellsTM and Fuel Ampoules in China. It reaffirmed this agreement on November 22, 2005.

July 13, 2007 The Direct Methanol Flashed Cell has run continuously for over 2 years, and it is still going. August 18, 2006 The Manhattan Scientifics license agreements were terminated.
